How do I share a Manus-developed app or publish it to the Google Play / App Store?

In Manus, you can easily develop and debug mobile apps with the Develop Apps capability. We also support sharing or publishing apps built with Manus through the Google Play Store / App Store.

To publish on Google Play, open Publish to Google Play, package your app in AAB format, and then follow the instructions in https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9859152?hl=en to upload and release it.

Sharing and publishing iOS apps requires an Apple Developer account. An app can be shared and distributed only after it is packaged and uploaded to Apple’s developer backend.

You can register for an Apple Developer account at https://developer.apple.com/programs/. After registration, in Manus open Publish, switch to the iOS tab, and click Create app. Follow the on-screen steps to create the app in Apple’s system, package it, and upload it. After TestFlight (Apple’s service for test distribution) finishes processing, your developer email will receive an invitation email like the one below:

On your iPhone, tap the button in the email and follow the prompts: install the TestFlight app first, then accept the invitation in TestFlight to install the test build on your device. After you publish updates, you can also update directly in TestFlight.

This invitation link is only valid for the current developer account.

Below are the ways to invite others to try the app, distribute it to a small group, or officially submit it to the App Store:

If you want to invite specific Apple users to install the app, follow these steps:

Step 1: On App Store Connect, go to Users and Access and invite the user to join your developer account:

Step 2: After the user accepts the invitation, find the app in the Apps list, open the TestFlight tab, and under INTERNAL TESTING (left sidebar) select Team (Expo). Add the new user to the tester list on the right. They will receive the same invitation email.

If you want to distribute the app to a small group but can’t invite users one by one, you can apply for external testing in TestFlight. This requires TestFlight review; once approved, you can generate an invitation link that any user can use to join the test.

Step 1: In the TestFlight tab, click the plus button next to EXTERNAL TESTING to create an external testing group:

Step 3: Fill in the form (for apps that don’t require login, you can deselect Sign-in required), then submit for review:

Step 4: Wait for TestFlight approval (you’ll receive an email notification):

Step 5: Create a public invitation link:

After approval, any iOS user can download and install your app using the public invitation link created in the last step.

This part is more involved. Refer to Apple’s official documentation. Note that packaging and uploading have already been completed in the previous steps, so you can ignore the parts of the documentation related to build/packaging configuration.
