What is the Manus Agent Slack Integration?

The Manus Slack Agent enables you to assign tasks, ask questions, and receive files from the Manus AI agent without ever leaving your Slack environment. This means you can leverage advanced AI tools while collaborating with your team, streamlining your daily operations.

Accessing the Manus Bot

To begin using Manus on Slack, you can interact with the bot in two primary ways:

  1. In a Channel: You can mention @Manus in any public or private Slack channel where the bot has been added. This is ideal for collaborative work where multiple team members need to see the request and the results. (This will create a new task under your account.)

  2. Via Direct Message: You can send a Direct Message (DM) directly to the Manus Bot for private, one-on-one assistance. (This will create a new task under your Agents section in your account.)

The Account Linking Process

To start using Manus in Slack, you first need to link your Slack profile with your Manus account. This authentication step ensures that your tasks are properly attributed to you and that your data remains securely managed within your personal workspace.

Linking your account is a straightforward, one-time process. Follow these steps to connect your profiles:

When you send your first message to the Manus bot (either by mentioning @Manus in a channel or sending a Direct Message), the bot will respond with a secure login link.

Clicking this link will open your default web browser, directing you to the Manus login page. Here, you can log into your Manus account using your preferred authentication method.

Upon successful login, the browser will redirect you back to Slack, and your account binding will be complete. You will receive a confirmation message, and you are now ready to start assigning tasks to Manus directly from Slack.

Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues during the linking process, ensure that you are logging into the correct Manus account associated with your work or personal profile.

If the browser fails to redirect you back to Slack after a successful login, you can safely close the browser tab and return to Slack manually. Your account should still be successfully linked. If the bot continues to prompt you to log in, try using the /login slash command to re-initiate the process.
