Learn about the different Cloud Computer pricing tiers, resource allocations, and how billing works for persistent environments.
To accommodate a wide range of use cases—from simple automation scripts to complex team databases—the Manus Cloud Computer is offered in three distinct plans. Understanding these plans will help you choose the right environment for your needs and manage your billing effectively.
What is Cloud Computer?
Cloud Computer is a persistent cloud server (Ubuntu Server) provided by Manus that can continuously run services outside of your active Manus sessions. All plans include a dedicated public IP address and run on Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS, with billing calculated on a monthly basis.

Cloud Computer Plans and Pricing
When creating a Cloud Computer, you can select from the following tiers based on your project's needs:
Basic Plan ($10/month): Designed for lightweight, continuous operations. This plan includes 2 vCPUs, 1 GB of RAM, and 35 GB of storage. It is ideal for running simple Python scripts, basic Discord or Telegram bots, and scheduled web scrapers.
Standard Plan ($30/month) [Recommended]: Built for more demanding applications. This tier provides 2 vCPUs, 4 GB of RAM, and 70 GB of storage, offering the necessary resources to host active websites, deploy APIs, and run open-source tools like WordPress or Metabase.
Advanced Plan ($50/month): Engineered for heavy workloads and enterprise needs. The Advanced plan includes 2 vCPUs, 8 GB of RAM, and 120 GB of storage, making it suitable for hosting large, persistent team databases (such as MySQL) and handling high-traffic applications.
Upgrading Your Plan
If your project outgrows your current plan, you can upgrade at any time.
Important Note on Upgrades: When you upgrade to a higher tier, your virtual machine (VM) will need to restart to allocate the new resources. This means that any active websites, bots, or scripts running on your Cloud Computer will experience a brief pause during the restart process. They will automatically resume once the upgrade is complete.
What Happens If You Stop Paying?
Because the Cloud Computer relies on persistent cloud resources, maintaining an active subscription is required to keep your environment running.
If your subscription lapses or you choose to stop paying for your Cloud Computer plan:
The persistent virtual machine will be shut down.
Your working files, installed tools, and databases stored on that specific Cloud Computer will be deleted.
However, any final outputs, reports, or files that Manus previously delivered to you within the chat interface will remain safely in your chat history.
We highly recommend asking Manus to back up any critical databases or files to your local machine (using the Desktop App) or to a cloud storage provider before canceling your Cloud Computer subscription.
