How will upgrading my subscription charge my credits?
You subscribed via Stripe:
Upgrading from a low-price annual plan to a high-price annual plan & Upgrading from a low-price monthly plan to a high-price monthly plan
*Please note that the subscription cycle will not change.
Without using coupons / promo code:
Amount: The system will calculate the upgrade amount based on the remaining time of your current plan
Credits: The system will issue the credits for the difference between the two plans based on the remaining time of your current plan
Example: You subscribed to the $20 Pro monthly plan on the 1st of this month, and upgraded to the $40 Pro monthly plan after half a month of subscription. You need to pay the price difference between the two plans for the remaining half month of subscription duration ($10) and receive 2000 credits. Your $40 Pro monthly plan will renew on the 1st of next month.
Using coupons / promo code:
Amount: The system will apply your coupon and calculate the upgrade amount based on the remaining time of your current plan
Credits: When upgrade orders use coupons/promo codes, the system will comprehensively consider the remaining time proportion of the current credits cycle and the total credits ratio between the targeted upgrade plan and current plan, and issue credits proportionally.
You subscribed via Apple Subscriptions
When upgrading a subscription order on the Apple platform, the original order will be automatically refunded, and the upgraded subscription order will be charged at the full price.
You subscribed via Google Play Store
When upgrading your subscription on an Android device, you need to pay the full price of the new plan. Any remaining credits from your previous plan will be added to your new billing cycle, and the unused membership days from your previous plan will be converted into additional days for your new subscription based on the price ratio between the plans.
For example, if you subscribed to a $20 Pro monthly plan on June 1st with 1,000 credits, and then upgraded to a $40 Pro monthly plan on June 6th, you would need to pay $20 and receive credits corresponding to the price difference. Your existing 1,000 credits would also be retained and added to your new plan. The $40 Pro monthly plan period will be the same as the $20 Pro monthly plan period.
Upgrading from a low-tier annual plan to a high-tier monthly plan & upgrading from a low-tier monthly plan to a high-tier annual plan
Mobile users will not receive refunds for price differences, only membership time extension
Web users: Please note that we will calculate the upgrade amount based on time proportions, and the subscription cycle will also change accordingly. The system will calculate the corresponding refund amount or the difference you need to pay. If your upgrade plan amount is greater than the original plan amount, you will need to pay the difference. (Refund amounts will be returned to your Stripe account balance.)
Will the downgrade take effect immediately?
Downgrades do not take effect immediately. Currently, Manus handles subscription downgrades by applying them at your next renewal cycle.
For example, if you subscribed to a $40 Pro monthly plan on the 1st of this month and chose to downgrade to a $20 Pro monthly plan on the 15th, you will retain the $40 Pro monthly plan subscription benefits until the next renewal date on the 1st of next month. At that time, your subscription will renew as a $20 Pro monthly plan.
You may find out when your downgrade will take place in your account/usage tab:
⚠ Note: All amounts calculated above are excluding taxes.
